2. Purpose of this Policy
This privacy policy describes how personal data is processed when using the mobile application PROG.
Information about the processing of data on our website can be found separately in the Website Privacy Policy.
3. What data does PROG process?
3.1 Local content data (stored only on your device)
Journal entries, goals, tasks, routines, learning progress, app settings
Storage location: exclusively on your device
No server upload, no cloud sync, no developer access
3.2 Notifications
PROG can schedule local reminders (notifications) on your device
No push tokens, no transmission of data to any server
3.3 Diagnostic data from the operating system (optional)
If you have enabled the sharing of diagnostic and usage data with Apple in your iOS settings, Apple may collect anonymized stability information.
We do not receive any personal raw data. Apple is solely responsible for this processing.
No cookies, no advertising IDs, no app tracking, and no third-party SDKs (e.g. Firebase, Crashlytics, Analytics).
4. Purposes and legal bases
App functions (local storage): performance of the user agreement (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR)
Local notifications: performance of the user agreement (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR)
Support contact (e-mail): handling your inquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR)
Apple diagnostic data: responsibility lies with Apple; our legitimate interest is limited to receiving anonymized stability information (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR)
5. Storage location and retention
All content data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
Support e-mails are retained only as long as necessary for processing and to comply with legal obligations.
6. Recipients / Disclosure
No disclosure of your in-app data to third parties
When contacting support, your information is processed by our e-mail provider (data processing agreement in place)
No data transfer to third countries through the app functions
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to certain processing activities.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (e.g. the LfDI Baden-Württemberg).

8. Use by children and adolescents
The app PROG can generally be used by individuals of all ages.
However, we do not collect or store personal data on servers and do not create user profiles.
Parents or guardians should ensure that children use the app responsibly when entering personal reflections.
9. Security
All data is stored exclusively on your device.
Please protect your device (e.g. with a passcode / Face ID) and make regular encrypted backups to avoid data loss.
10. Changes
This privacy policy may be updated if features or legal requirements change.
